In an interview once, his son, Patrick, confirmed that when needed, he uses his old flip phone, although he has memorized most of the numbers. 

In contrast, a recent interview with CBS News revealed that he bought his childhood buddies, who also work as delegates at the Vienna conference, a special gift to help them communicate from across the world.
