The sport of bodybuilding is both rewarding and dangerous at the same time. While it rewards the bodybuilders with conditioned physiques, it hurts them by inflicting injuries. But history always proved that determined athletes never give up in a situation of crisis. Apart from many bodybuilders, and actors, players have also suffered injuries while training. Danny Lee Clark, a former football player, is one among them.
But he started his training afresh without losing hope. In a 3-year-old episode of ‘The ‘Dr. Levi Harrison Show,’ Nitro opened up about his positive attitude toward life and how he pushed himself despite injuries and negativity.

Danny Lee Clark’s truly inspiring story
While discussing the concept of moving forward in life, Clark revealed a tragedy in his life that took place some time back. “I had a back surgery 15 months ago,” he confessed before adding that he tore his bicep head in his left arm while doing snatches at the gym.
So, the American Gladiators‘ fame visited his gym after the surgery and once again started doing snatches for the first time after the incident. However, he noticed his efficiency came down drastically after the surgery. “I used to be able to do like 200 pounds, I could barely do the bar yesterday,” he confessed on the show.
He further opened up about negative thoughts in his mind. “ I just heard this voice say and like just stop, just quit. Don’t do this. This is embarrassing, ” he said. But he didn’t heed the negativity and continued with his exercise, marching on his journey of progress. Clark can be praised for his unwavering spirit. The bodybuilding sport has seen many such determined athletes, and Ronnie Coleman tops the list for his courage.
