The Instagram channel Gym Weirdos shares gym or fitness videos that aptly suit its bio, “Daily Dose of Gym Memes.” In a recent post, they shared a reel in which a ripped old man was seen crossing street lanes shirtless.

Fitness enthusiasts were all hearts for the man’s brawny avatar. A commenter wrote in fascination, “Dudes 90 in better shape than 99% of the population.” An awestruck user commented, “The guy looks like a beast.” Appreciating his massive physique for his age, another wrote, “Monster amongst men.”

Comparing the old man in the video with a 54-year-old bodybuilder, another follower wrote, “Bro looks like a titan.” A fitness enthusiast stated in all honesty, “Dude was jacked back in the day.” There are many ripe-old fitness influencers on Instagram. One of them who has a whopping following of 1.7 million is Joan MacDonald.

The 77-year-old bodybuilding grandma

After being overweight for several years, Joan MacDonald, aged 77, took to bodybuilding to overcome health issues. She joined an online women’s fitness group. She weighed 198 lbs in her seventies, and with her daughter’s support and her own effort, she lost an incredible amount of weight. Now the grandma ensures to maintain a fitness and diet routine.

MacDonald, however, affirmed that the ride is not easy. “I won’t lie – it wasn’t easy. I had to learn about macros, create balanced meals, and even start lifting heavy weights in the gym!” she shared her struggles in an Instagram post.
