Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s films like The Terminator, Commando, and Predator made him the most significant action hero of the 1980s. As a great bodybuilder, movie star, and, Governator, Arnie is revered by the world. However, the action hero admits that he is not a good dancer. He confessed, “Dancing is not my specialty,” after taking months of classes for a dance sequence in True Lies, per Entertainment Weekly.

Now the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger made a similar confession. But Katherine Schwarzenegger credited her bad dancing skills to her mother’s lineage. She tagged her uncle Tim Shriver’s dance video in her Instagram story while making the honest confession.

Katherine Schwarzenegger reveals a family secret

The Shriver family recently visited Berlin to celebrate the Special Olympics World Games scheduled from 17 to 25 June this year. To the unversed, Maria Shriver’s mother Eunice Kennedy Shriver was the founder of the Special Olympics Organization. So to cheer the participants, Maria and her brother and chairman of the organization, Timothy Shriver reached Berlin.

Tim Shriver shared a video of him dancing at the event. Kennedy Schwarzenegger reposted her uncle’s dancing video and revealed that her poor dancing skills are attributed to genetics in the caption. “The terrible dance moves are genetic thanks for my uncle for making that clear,” she wrote in the story.

Apart from the funny note, Katherine also added a few pictures of her mother from the event. Maria Shriver was seen cheering the participants of the Special Olympics World Games with great enthusiasm. Katherine’s bodybuilding father was also naive at dancing until he had to learn the Tango for James Cameron’s film True Lies.

The fascinating part of the script is that it had a Tango sequence for the actor who is a novice in dancing. “I sent him the script and in the margins, I put an arrow to the tango scene that said, ‘This is your most dangerous stunt,’” revealed the director about his instructions to Schwarzenegger in an interview.
