Bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger has probably achieved most things there are to achieve. His achievements include seven Mr. Olympia titles, multiple Hollywood blockbuster movies, and a successful two-term Governorship of California. But despite that, the Austrian Oak hasn’t been able to evade criticism in his life. One such aspect that has been the subject of debate is his height. In a recent picture that he took with another 7x Mr. Olympia winner, his height sparked an intense discussion once again.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is above 6 feet tall, posed with Phil Heath after a drilling workout session together at Gold’s Gym, Venice Beach. The post soon got traction, and fans started noticing the peculiarity of Schwarzenegger’s height as compared to Phil Heath’s.

Phil Heath recently took to his Instagram and shared an image of him and Schwarzenegger together. As the two 7-time Mr. Olympias came together, Heath was wearing a green-colored Muhammad Ali t-shirt and shorts, and Schwarzenegger was in a khaki-colored t-shirt and shorts. But fans were quick to notice that Schwarzenegger and Heath, standing next to each other, looked of similar height, with Schwarzenegger looking just slightly taller.

While there could be a myriad of reasons for that, including a forced perspective of the camera, their virtual distance from one another, etc, it didn’t stop fans to start a debate under the comments section. Heath was particularly praiseworthy of the Terminator star in his caption.

He wrote, “Arnold still trains daily, carrying the high standards of health and wellness being a top priority so that he can thrive in all areas of his life. To train beside him was awesome…” But putting all those credits aside, some people couldn’t ignore the discrepancy in their heights as opposed to the common notion.

Fans start a discussion about his height based on a picture

Fans flooded the comments section after seeing the two bodybuilding legends posing together. Most commented on the height difference between the two. Many still claim the Austrian has been telling a tall tale. Here’s how some of the fans reacted.

“Well, I guess Arnold is about 5’10” after all”, wrote a fan that started off the debate. Since common knowledge says Schwarzenegger is 6’2″, there was bound to start a back-and-forth in comments.

“People shrink with age bro. In his prime, he was 6’2.5”, wrote another fan replying to the above-mentioned fan, defending Schwarzenegger and his height.

“A little over 5’10” barefoot is possible, not that hardly anyone in America counts barefoot heights anymore”, wrote a fan with acute observation.

“Thought Arnold was 6”2”, wrote another fan down in the comments section with the same observation as many others before him.

“He still massive!” wrote one of his fans, who clearly noticed his size, irrespective of the debate on just his height.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is 6’2″ tall, as he has been for the most part of his life. Phil Heath, on the other hand, is 5’9″, meaning a difference of five inches should be visible. When the image didn’t indicate that clearly, fans started doubting him. Arnold Schwarzenegger has already once debunked such rumors about his height in public, but he still can’t evade the controversy.
