Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals his success mantra

The bodybuilding icon always emphasized having a clear vision for achieving goals. But Arnie touched upon how he overcame the difficulties of his childhood with his vision, in-depth, on the Jay Shetty podcast. The host asked Schwarzenegger, “Sometimes we feel envious and egotistical about visions. How did you allow yourself or how did you develop that ability that even though around you there wasn’t that much success, there was more stress, but you saw Mr. Austria and were able to do that?

The question made Schwarzenegger recount his childhood circumstances. The 76-year-old confessed, “I was unhappy with the reality of what was around me; you know, the tough parents and the lack of food, and others had stakes; we didn’t have the money for that; as a matter of fact, we never ate meat during the week.

But Schwarzenegger always dreamed of great things in life. “So, everywhere I looked, so, I think to me, the only way really was, in order to be happy is to create my own world and to visualize,” the 76-year-old said, recounting his childhood practice. Eventually, his vision helped him achieve unparalleled success. Now, in his seventies, Schwarzenegger is strictly complying with his father’s words.

The Austrian Oak’s fourth quarter

The 76-year-old’s teens and twenties were all about bodybuilding. Arnie won the Mr. Universe and seven Mr. Olympia titles and proved himself to be the best bodybuilder of his time with hard work. In the following two decades, he established himself as a Hollywood action superstar before venturing into politics.

As California’s governor for two terms, he brought people-oriented reforms to the financial and environmental sectors from 2003 to 2011. In his fourth quarter, he strived to “Be Useful” as his father suggested to him in his childhood. Arnie titled his latest self-help book inspired by his father’s words.
