Dealing with postpartum and getting back to one’s usual daily routine can be harder in itself. Fitness and working out sessions on the other sound like a whole different league. But the Kardashians are known for their ideal fit bodies and Kourtney Kardashian does not seem to compromise with her physique despite giving birth to her fourth child only weeks ago.

The 44-year-old American media personality recently gave birth to her first baby with the drummer of Blink-182, Travis Barker. Kardashian never planned to fall back on her fitness goals and hence she started her journey again. However, she also left a message for all those who are dealing with postpartum themselves.

Kourtney Kardashian returns to her fitness regime

In one of her Instagram stories, Kourtney Kardashian posted a picture of herself on the treadmill working out. Giving birth less than 2 months ago, the fitness icon wrote, “7 weeks postpartum: first day in the gym doing 30 minutes walking 3.0 12.0 incline taking it easy”. As she talked about her initial routine and how hse plans to slowly enter the fitness regime again, Kardashian also left a message for other mothers.

Kardashian understands how hard it is to get back on track having a postpartum. Hence, it requires people to slowly approach it instead of engaging in heavy sessions. She wrote, “No rush no pressure mamas, your body is healing, it’s not a race,” thus, spreading awareness among her followers, she inspires many to start their fitness journey, but slowly.

Although, after giving a healthy birth, Kourtney Kardashian can slowly get back to her usual lifestyle, she was initially advised not to practice some of her basic chores in everyday life.

Kourtney Kardashian’s restrictions during Pregnancy

Kourtney Kardashian once revealed how, unlike her first three pregnancies, this time with baby Rocky had been different. Her doctor had repeatedly advised her that she should not keep her body under any sort of stress. Thus she revealed she was told that she should not even workout. She stated, “No workouts, no Pilates, no caffeine, no plane trips. Even no sex!”

Pregnancy usually takes a huge toll on the mother’s body. And Kourtney Kardashian’s restrictions also suggested how she needed to take care of herself while caring for the baby before birth. Hence, once she successfully and safely delivered the baby, she now believes in herself and finds it necessary to get back on track.
