Although the times have changed and bodybuilding prize money has increased over time, it still does not provide enough amount for a smooth lifestyle. So much so that the recent news shocks the fitness world, yet no one can deny it.

Ali Al Sharqawy, the 30-year-old bodybuilder from Egypt, had recently made a horrific statement. His revelation about the life of an ordinary bodybuilder truly depicts how less of a paycheck they actually receive.

In a recent post by The National News, Sharqawy is professionally a bodybuilder. However, that is definitely not his livelihood. The 30-year-old is spotted every morning collecting scrap metal and Rubbish around the bustling city of Tanta in Egypt. When asked about this matter, he stated how his earnings depended heavily on luck. It might get him 400 or nothing at all. The intensity of unreliable financial sources really puts forward its intensity as Sharqawy rather prefers to spend his time among rubbish even though it might not yield anything on certain days.

As the bodybuilder tries to save up all his money to afford his bodybuilding career, he also reveals how reality is the only obstruction. He uttered, “Before marriage, every penny I made went to my food, my supplements and my training. Now I have a home and a wife to take care of”. Then he proceeded to claim, “Not ashamed of my job”.

The same concern had been raised by Dennis James in a recent podcast. He extensively talked about how bodybuilders almost always do not have enough financial stability, as the profession does not provide as much as it demands.
