The 76-year-old bodybuilder has observed several tests to understand that supplements that claim to reduce weight and burn fat do not really show any effective changes. Hence, Arnold Schwarzenegger implored his fans not to waste time or money on bad investments.

Arnold Schwarzenegger prefers not to believe in hearsay

Recently, Schwarzenegger reflected that most weight loss supplements might show a slight increase in resting metabolism. He said, “The latest study compared participants who used a “fat-burner” (those quotes are needed) for four weeks to those using a placebo. The supplement users saw a slight increase in resting metabolism.”

Moreover, Arnold Schwarzenegger pointed out that these fat burners barely have any improvements in one’s sleep quality, physical activity, or body weight loss. Instead of using such supplements, he suggested to eat more protein. He said, “We recommend saving money on fat-burning pills and focusing on sustainable habits such as improving your nutrition (remember tool #2: eating more protein and fiber), exercising, and getting enough sleep.”

The bodybuilder has always been openly supportive of his diet for effective weight loss. He has tried and tested many ways himself and decided that it is only through diet he can tackle it.

While trying to deal with the process of weight loss, The Austrian Oak had once found how even the smallest hamburger can carry upto 400 calories, which made him realize the necessity of one’s eating habits. He attested, “The smallest hamburger I could find is 400 calories, and it undoes all of that walking (10,000 steps) in a few minutes”. Hence, Arnie made sure to let it be heard that if one wishes to lose weight, they must focus on their diet first.
