Former Mr. Olympia Frank Zane was the  ‘God of Aesthetics’ in the 1960 and 1970s. He is a bodybuilding legend who is still going strong. Zane was one of the first bodybuilders to present a lean body at the Mr. Olympia stage. ‘The Chemist’ is famous on social media, and people like his informative posts. The former Olympia champion gives a lot of valuable knowledge about fitness through his posts on Instagram. One such Instagram post was uploaded by Zane recently.

Frank Zane believes that mind muscles need to be exercised

Zane was seen recently showing off his perfect body in a picture from old times, and he captioned it with ideas related to the mind and body. He wrote, “Our minds keep talking to us., shaping our perception of our world, entertaining us.”

He added, “Is there an easier way to overcome this barrier? Training the brain, to produce the relaxation response in the body, as being analogous to a workout to build your muscles.”Frank believes the mind needs to be exercised, nourished, and trained just like the body. The idea seems to have worked out well for his career!

The bodybuilding champion has always believed in having a sound mind and body for training. In another Instagram post as well he said, “did not let my mind ramble on by itself, I took control by saying something positive to myself.”   Maybe this idea is the key to Frank’s victory.

In a recent podcast named, ‘The Menace- Keeping it Real’ from ‘Muscle and Fitness’, the secret to Zane’s victory was revealed. When Milos Sarcev was questioned, “What do you think when you think of Frank Zane on stage?”, he said, “He had a trick to come a little bit in front so he would maybe look bigger, so he would match those guys in the size. But Frank was known for being a statue. Every separation – legs, quadriceps, you can see.”
