Chris Hemsworth changed the training routine for Extraction II

While portraying the role of Thor, Hemsworth bulked up and maintained a shredded physique. A clip from the video compilation had Hemsworth saying, “I’m currently tipping the scales at more than 230 lbs, and it’s a full-time job just to maintain it.” However, for Extraction II, the actor had to sport an athletic physique to give a realistic touch to the character of Tyler Rake.

I’d come off the most recent Thor films where I was just training and eating and training and eating. I was big. But in this film, the focus was to strip that down, be a lot leaner, a lot more agile,” the action hero said in the video. So, there was an entire shift in the Australian actor’s diet and workout routine to get leaner.
