Labrada demonstrates an optimal technique for the Incline dumbbell press and highlights the importance of logging workouts
Hunter takes the viewers through how to perform an incline dumbbell press and multiple cues to pay attention to while they were doing the exercise.
In the video, Hunter demonstrates the difference between what happens when the incline is more, or less. He says, ?You see this bench, this is the lowest incline that it has, and you know, typically anyone would just get on this bench and hit their incline presses.?
Then he shows an example by holding the posture and says, ?Well, if you see me? in here with my tissue restrictions and how my body is set up. If you look at the line of force at this angle I am getting a lot more front delt then I?m getting pectoral pressing.?
Finally, Hunter gets up and just tweaks one thing. He changes the incline of the bench and makes it lower. This creates all the difference. He concludes, ?The line of force is going right through the upper PEC fibers.? So, with one small change, the body can benefit tenfold from the inclined dumbbell press. Since the exercise is injury ridden, the right technique is essential and Labrada is on track with it. Apart from this, Hunter also has advocated logging each and every workout. Let?s see why.
