Unfortunately, he recently revealed his saddening health update, which was heartbreaking for his fans. Amidst the lows he has been dealing with in life, he still manages to keep his head up. He recently uploaded a story on his Instagram account where he channeled his inner ‘Devon Larratt.’

Larry Wheels starts arm wrestling again

Larry Wheels revealed a short while ago that he had been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease called rhabdomyolysis. The disease can cause permanent disability as well. It can happen due to exertion, trauma, or heat exposure. However, if one gets medical help, then the chances of fatality decrease. Symptoms include cramps, pain, and tiredness with any physically challenging task. That is probably why Wheels is facing lightheadedness. Revealing this in an Instagram post, Wheels wrote, “I fked around and got Rhabdo. light headed af.”

Wheels recently posted an Instagram story where he can be seen training shoulders with his gym bro. Channeling his inner Devon Larratt, who is a renowned Canadian arm wrestler, Wheels posted a picture in an arm wrestling stance with internet sensation Andre Deiu, who is a Men’s Physique bodybuilder who turned pro back in 2017.

Many in the fitness and bodybuilding industry expressed their grief over the saddening revelation of Wheels’ disease. Amidst these people was IFBB Pro Greg Doucette, who gave his two cents on the topic.

Greg wishes Larry a speedy recovery

Bodybuilding veteran Greg Doucette is a famous name in the fitness sphere. After coming across the news about Wheels, he made a YouTube video on this issue as well.

We’re praying that he comes out of this a hundred percent, ” Doucette empathized with the champion. However, he warns that the condition of rhabdomyolysis could lead to further kidney issues. “If he’s suffering from some kidney damage, it would help immensely if he were to downsize all these extra muscles,” Doucette suggested.
