Gyms have sprawled across the world as people are becoming more inclined to work out. Despite being the temples of fitness, gymnasiums have also witnessed a toxic culture of body shaming, disrespect, and rude behavior among gym-goers. Countering this, 40-year-old fitness enthusiast Joey Swoll, often strives to spread gym positivity with his viral videos.

In one such video, he supported IFBB Pro bodybuilder Mark Hunter Jr. aka Markus after the latter was thrown out of a gym by a rude staff member. The episode has long been closed but now Markus talks about being respectful in the gym.

In his recent Instagram video, the IFBB pro bodybuilder speaks about being respectful while filming in the gym, emphasizing the positive gym culture. “Filming in the gym is like you gotta be super respectful”, says the fitness enthusiast.

 “It’s a public gym, because they allow filming doesn’t give you right to take up space and be a d***,” he adds.  In the clip, Markus could be seen at the gym where a kind person asked him whether he was in Markus’ way. Citing this the IFBB legend says, “He’s like I’m not in the way, am I? Didn’t have to say that Or make sure he wasn’t in the way! Because he doesn’t own this gym but he did because he was respectful.”
