In an unfortunate event, The Icelandic Strongman, Hafthor Bjornsson, ended up tearing his pec muscle while trying to set a record of 556 lbs bench press. Considering his physician’s advice last month, he underwent surgery to get his pec muscle reattached. But hard luck, while he was on his path to recovery, he had to undergo another procedure to treat a bacterial infection.

In an Instagram post, the 34-year-old opened up about his recent hospital visit with his 4.2M concerned followers. He also posted a detailed YouTube video on his official channel.

Hafthor Bjornsson underwent yet another surgical method

The former boxing champion posted a carousel of pictures from his recent hospital visit. In the caption, he wrote in detail, “Wednesday I’m 4 weeks post-surgery. Sadly I got an infection 5 days ago resulting in an abscess and had to have a drainage tube inserted.”

He added, “WARNING GRAPHIC SURGERY FOOTAGE,” to prevent sensitive hearts from viewing the disheartening pictures. The recent photos reflect that he got the tube removed, and the last image of the dump revealed the long tube that was pulled out.
