Only months after the furious controversy between Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford regarding the 2023 Mr. Olympia title, Jay Cutler dismisses Choopan’s winning percentage in the 2024 Arnold Classics. According to Cutler, Samson is in a better position than Hadi for winning the title this year.

The four-times Mr. Olympia who defeated the mighty Ronnie Coleman, sat with his manager Matt, and the Serbian Coach, Milos Sarcev. It is when Sarcev asked whom Cutler would choose between Hadi and Samson, the bodybuilder chose the latter and also explained why.

Samson Vs Hadi: Cutler chooses Samson

In the short clip from an episode of Cutler Cast, Cutler announced, “Samson wins all day long. I mean, I feel because it’s proportion, shape, symmetry, you know, height.” Then he pointed out that it was not about disregarding any of the participants but he still believed that when they stand next to each other, he said, “there’s gonna be a size variance.”

Moreover, he also stated, “I was never the most shredded guy. But if a guy is in great condition, and the other guy is super shredded but doesn’t have the shape, doesn’t look as appealing, that’s where it’s a coin toss.” And in the end, he declared whom he found to be more apt for the Arnold Classic 2024 title. He said, “I love Hadi, but dude, Samson owns the show right now.”

However, Jay Cutler is not against Hadi Choopan. In fact, when the Choopan vs Lunsford controversy was relevant, the former Mr. Olympia showed his agreement with Choopan.

Jay Cutler understood Choopan’s frustration

When Cutler saw how Choopan had stormed off the stage extremely angry because he did not win the title, Jay showed his compassion towards him. He stated, “Derek Lunsford won his first, and he was second last year, a lot had first-place votes. Hadi wasn’t too happy about the decision. I wouldn’t be either, you know, he was very very close. It was neck and neck.”

Cutler did not show any biasness towards the athletes, because at one point he supported Hadi while in the next he found Samson at present, be the best for the Arnold Classic title. He also gave his fans a tour of his thought process regarding the same.
