Arnold Schwarzenegger’s comments triggered past debate

The 7x Mr. Olympia has been known for his fitness quotient since the 1970s. Arnie reigned the Mr. Olympia stage like a pro before becoming Hollywood’s favorite action hero. During his journey as a bodybuilder, actor, and two-term Governor of California, Schwarzenegger impressed the masses with his honest opinions and positive outlook toward life.

The 76-year-old is revered for his motivational talks and inspiring rags-to-riches life story. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the bodybuilding icon faced the public’s wrath in 2021 when he fired on people who considered wearing masks as a curb on their freedom and said, ‘Scr*w your freedom,’ in a CNN interview. Subsequently, Schwarzenegger apologized. “I’m sorry for saying those words. I try to be relentlessly positive, but sometimes my mouth gets ahead of me,” he wrote in a tweet.

The Terminator actor is in his late seventies and is prioritizing his health to live longer. “The time you’re born, your time cut is set. It’s set. The only thing that changes it is you, right? Let’s assume I’m set for 85. I can decide: do I want to go to 90? Yeah, I can do that, but then you have to live really healthy,” he recently said on The Tim Ferriss Show. He further added, “Someone else has said, for 90, you can live to 100. You can stretch it a little bit.”
