Monasterio is a religious person and wakes up at 3 am to read the bible and pray. She heads out for a run every day at 4:30 as part of her fasted cardio. After a few hours, she continues her day by lifting an iron for around two hours per day. She has, over the years, won more than 400 trophies competing in bodybuilding shows. ?Your chronological age has nothing to do with your biological age,??states Josefina.

During an old appearance on the Steve Harvey Show, she revealed,?“Women tell me that they thought at 40 years old it was too late to get in shape. I’m here to tell you that it’s never too late to get in shape.”She further revealed that she dedicates an hour of her day to training, making sure to cover every muscle group at least twice a week. Additionally, she shared that she actively participates in around 4 to 5 bodybuilding shows each year, competing in the open category.
