Arnold Schwarzenegger recalls the time when the First Lady of the US broke her leg

In a recent video uploaded by The Kelly Clarkson Show, Arnold Schwarzenegger is featured talking about recounting the time when he witnessed – and was partly responsible – for The First Lady, Barbara Bush’s leg fracture. When invited by George H. W. Bush at Camp David in the early 1990s, Schwarzenegger was behind the steering of a sled, once. He confessed that he could not balance the steering well, and that led to the unfortunate accident. The bodybuilding legend confessed with an embarrassed face, “I did not know how to steer so, I mean it’s just going fast and fast. And all of a sudden, we were approaching this tree and all of a sudden Barbara comes out behind the tree. And then we just ran into her leg”.

Schwarzenegger also remembered how the First Lady had to go through a lot of trouble because of that. He stated, “Poor Barbara Bush, you know, she had to go to the hospital afterwards. She had the you know a sprained leg. And she got a cast on it and the whole thing like that. But I have to say that they were very gracious about it.”
