Strongman beast and ‘Game of Thrones’ actor, Hafthor Bjornsson is nothing short of a living legend. He is the only man to lift 1000lbs during a squat and also a deadlift. The strongman also has 30 contest wins. He tried out his punches in boxing and won against Devon Larratt. However, the strongman cannot win with one individual in this entire world, and that is his wife. Kelsey Henson has been through all the thick and thin that Bjornsson has faced, and she was always a pillar of strength. The man of 6’9” stature always succumbs to his 5’1” companion as she ground him.

In a recent Instagram story, the strongman posted a video where he is having a debate with his wife about a unique sandwich. However, even if Bjornsson might win all other fights, this one might not be on his winning list.

Hafthor Bjornsson has a quarrel with his wife over a sandwich

It seems like Bjornsson is very particular about his food tastes and preferences. The man famous for playing Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane, in ‘Game of Thrones’, prefers eating rib-eye steak, eggs, rice, and chicken for his main protein intake while getting ready for a competition. The man who eats six eggs and six pieces of bacon with a cup of rice was astonished by his wife’s sandwich choices.

In the Instagram story, he clearly seems confused and in a mood for debate with his wife Kelsey. She is peacefully gathering her cutlery in the kitchen and tidying up while ‘The Mountain’ asks, “Is this a weird combination, tomato and bacon sandwich?” to the viewers. 

Henson swiftly answers to her husband, “It’s not, it’s normal in Canada anyway. Bacon and tomato sandwich with mayonnaise, pepper on it with maybe a little bit of salt.” While saying this she clearly feels nostalgic about the taste and loves the unique combo.

Bjornsson seems to be against the flavors of bacon, tomato, and mayo clashing together and asks if cheese is allowed. She firmly says, “No, no it has to be bacon and mayo means mayo.” He again tries for the last time on an already lost debate, “Why tomatoes?” His wife laughs at his antics and replies, “ Because that’s just the way it is! That’s how the sandwich is!” The couple is inseparable and the highlight of their pairing is their adorable height difference!

Kelsey explains one issue she faces with Hafthor

Kelsey and Hafthor met at a restaurant in Alberta City where she was a waitress and he went to the city for a competition. They instantly hit it off and since then their love has not diminished. The duo married in 2018 and even have a son together.

However, she expressed her discontent, albeit in a lighthearted way over one thing. In a previous Instagram post, the fitness trainer and professional athlete shared a picture with Bjornsson and wrote, “Never get fully in the frame together….tall with short people problems. Tag your tall or short partner/friends!”
