63-YO Legend Proudly Holds His Local Gym Sacred Against Legendary Gold’s Gym: “A Lot of Gossips That Came Out of Places Like Gold’s Gym”

With 6 Olympia titles from 1992 to 1997, Dorian Yates has dominated the bodybuilding community for many decades. Apart from Olympia, he has won around 15 major competitions, which sets him apart from the rest. Like his unparalleled career, his training and life choices have always been extraordinary.

Recently, he shared a post on his Instagram account expressing his pride in his Temple gym, where he trained and gained abundant knowledge. For Yates, the gym holds a special place in his heart over Gold’s Gym.

In a recent post uploaded to Dorian Yates’ Instagram account, Yates made an effort to take fans down the memory lane of the Temple gym, which won him countless titles during his golden bodybuilding career. He posted a carousel of photos showing himself in the gym. Along with photos, he wrote a long, heart-touching note that gave significant details about his past life. Instead of Gold’s Gym, his heart goes out to his Temple gym, as “a lot of gossips that came out of places like Gold’s Gym.“

He was proud of the training partners he had in the gym to accompany him on that journey to Mount Olympia. Continuing, he said he didn’t gossip about anyone, which set a standard that others followed.

His Temple gym has been like a temple for him as he could work away in silence without letting the outside world know how hard he was working. It has helped him to put all his energies into producing another improved version of himself for the coming Olympia.

Whenever he comes to Birmingham, he visits the gym packed with “hallowed grounds.” His visit brings back so many precious memories. Further, he wrote, “Even though I was just standing outside, I could still feel the historic energy that surged throughout that sacred place from all those who trained there over the years.” Earlier, he relived those unforgettable days again by meeting his former training partner, Paul Baxendale, after 30 years.

Yates and Baxendale were seen together, enjoying their quality time. Apart from this, they shared various pictures on each other’s Instagram accounts, telling the world about the most unforgettable moments they had spent together.

The 5x Olympia shared three photos of them sitting together, smiling with each other, and conversing in the studio. He shared a lengthy caption about their friendship and mutual support.
