Although he might not be a household name, an influencer is taking over the bodybuilding and fitness world and has helped more than 8000 people. He trains them without making anyone sacrifice too much for fitness. Founder and CEO of Johnson Fitness, the largest fitness transformation program in the UK, the influencer was ranked the top 3 coaches in Forbes magazine as well and skyrocketed his business through training and hard work. It’s none other than Charlie Johnson.

However, some followers and fitness enthusiasts do not seem to like his out-of-the-box methods. His latest fitness hack received a surprising review.

The businessman and bodybuilder uploaded an Instagram video about chiseling abs. Johnson explained the exercise as a Swiss ball crunch but the secret was that the knees are locked in with a lying hamstring curl machine. The feet are not planted to the ground but the knees are locked to give better grip to the exercise.

Holding on to the thighs gives a better stability for the crunches according to him. He also captioned the post writing, “This Forces the Hips to Stay Locked in Place and you can Control Your Abs through the Whole Movement.” However, this hack was not really appreciated by the fitness community.

The fitness coach with years of experience and a whole team of fitness experts who help others could not impress the online world. They had a different opinion on this new exercise altogether.

One comment read, “The absolute definition of a gym fail person.” One even asked about the blocking of the hamstring curl machine and wrote, “ What if someone wants to use that machine.” Another gym-goer had the same question too and said, “Blocking a machine you’re not using… douche.”
