Bruno Oliveira Santos cannot participate in the upcoming competition

Bruno shared his condition in his Instagram profile with pictures from the hospital. He also wrote a long caption, narrating what happened. According to the news, due to his bowel infection, he will not be able to participate in the upcoming Flex Weekend Pro in Italy.

The bodybuilder himself shared the detailed situation on his own Instagram account. He explained how he had been keeping a low profile while preparing for the competition. Before heading to MIA, he regularly updated his fans on his physical condition and progress. Bruno also traveled to Italy for the competition, but unfortunately, the day after arriving, he began experiencing discomfort and abdominal pain. According to Bruno, the pain had actually started on Sunday, but he didn’t want to interrupt his 20-week workout challenge. He was rushed to the emergency room the following day. Fortunately, the bowel infection was under control, and he received antibiotics along with other hydration medications.

Even in this condition, Bruno remained optimistic and expressed his desire to recover and return to the competition next year. Fans, upon hearing this news, felt deeply saddened and began to question whether bodybuilding was truly worth all the associated health risks.
