The $600 million-worth actor and producer, Tom Cruise, is regarded among the top Hollywood stars, and there’s no doubt about it. The actor has managed to keep up his best form even at the age of 61, and evidently, he has no plans of stopping. With his film, Top Gun: Maverick, getting nominated for six Academy Awards, including the title for Best Picture, he is taking the film world by storm.

In February, Cruise appeared in an interview on the popular talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, chatting about his upcoming Mission Impossible movies and also answering a fun round of random questions. The famous actor made a shocking revelation during this round, which left the audience in awe of his skill.

Per the interview, the 61-year-old star was caught up in a round of questions where host Jimmy Kimmel nudged him for his insane stunts. To emphasize Cruise’s quirk for performing fearless stunts, the host initially asked him if he would like to ride sharks like cowboys. With much laughter from the audience and the star himself, Kimmel instantly switched to another question.

Would you gain a 100lbs for a role?” he asked. Interestingly, the American star didn’t even take a moment to answer. “Les Grossman…” Cruise hinted. It was his character from the $92 million 2008 film, Tropic Thunder. The three-time Golden Globe Award winner played the role of this overarching antagonist in the film, leaving fans in doubt about his appearance.

Unlike his usual chiseled physique, the actor appeared as a bald and weighty character. As per reports, the cameo was the brainchild of Cruise himself, not the idea of the scriptwriters of the movie. Hence, recalling his experience, Kimmel narrated that he had hardly recognized the actor and ended up asking his companion if that was Tom. However, this is not even the most unusual stunt he has practiced for his movies.

In the latest movie of the Mission Impossible franchise, Tom Cruise made headlines as he opened up about a spine-chilling risk he took that raised the fans’ eyebrows. There was a scene in the movie where he rides a bike on a ramp and jumps off a mountain. As per sources, this stunt by Cruise took a lot of preparation and practice.

“I did lots of skydiving, tracking, working again on the motorcycle, lots of motorcycle jumps,” he revealed in an interview with The Project. Furthermore, Cruise claimed that he also tried a range of approaches to polish his skills for the real scene. All of these preparations went into successfully delivering the highly risky stunt.
