Strongman beast Hafthor Bjornsson is a living legend. With over 30 competitive wins in strongman contests, Bjornsson is the only man ever to lift 1000lbs on both a deadlift and a squat. Outside the realm of strength sports, Bjornsson has also tried his luck in a boxing ring against Devon Larratt, who he knocked out in the first round and won by a technical knockout.

During all his ventures, the only constant in his life was the support and love of his wife, Kelsey Henson. While ‘Mountain’ stands tall at 6 foot 9 inches, his wife, on the other hand, is 19 inches shorter than him and is around 5 foot 1 inch tall. However, in his recent Instagram post, Bjornsson made a shocking revelation about his better half.

Hafthor Bjornsson, who is also famous for his role in the infamous TV Series ‘Game of Thrones’, maintains an active presence on his social media. Using his social media handles as well as YouTube videos, he makes sure to keep his fans updated about the ongoings of his life. While recovering from a serious pec tear that he suffered weeks ago while training, Hafthor recently posted an image with his wife on his Instagram account. 

In the image, his wife looked a lot taller than she actually is. The 6’9 beast sarcastically wrote in the caption, “It was prank all this time. @kelc33 is actually 6’8.” While the picture was perfectly edited, the die-hard ‘Game of Thrones’ fans would easily recognize the truth behind the picture. The image was from back in April 2019 when the couple arrived at the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere in New York.

Due to the unbelievable height difference between the duo, there are some troubles that are bound to happen. Back in 2018, his wife Kelsey Henson admitted one of the problems that this height difference leads to in an Instagram post.

The love story of Hafthor and his wife is one of a kind. While Bjornsson was in Alberta City for a strongman contest, he met Kelsey in a restaurant where she worked as a part-time waitress. When Kelsey expressed her desire to get a picture with Bjornsson, the duo started talking and got along pretty well. A while later, the couple got married back in 2018.

In an Instagram post from September 2018, Kelsey shared a picture with Hafthor and captioned it, ““Never get fully in the frame together….tall with short people problems. Tag your tall or short partner/friends!“
