“They Want to Toast Daddy”: Arnold Schwarzenegger Confesses the Consequences After His Extreme Parenting Measures, Leaves the World Stunned

Thanks to his countless ventures into various realms, Schwarzenegger has enough knowledge about almost every aspect of life. His new book, ‘Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life,’ is also expected to be out soon, on October 24th. The bodybuilding legend has been busy lately, promoting the book, giving various interviews, etc. One thing that is widely discussed in all the interviews is the parenting methods that Schwarzenegger used, as mentioned in detail in his book.

While ‘The Austrian Oak’ himself hails from a small village in Austria, he faced a lot of hardships growing up. Although he ensured that his kids never faced the troubles that he did, he also made sure to make them understand the importance of hard work and not relying on others for their work. Schwarzenegger sat with Rich Roll for a podcast recently, and he proudly admitted that his kids understand how his parenting methods shaped them into better people.

While Schwarzenegger was born just after World War II, Austria, like many other nations, was still recovering from the trauma and aftermath of the war. Due to this, there were a lot of food shortages, power cuts, etc., in Schwarzenegger’s initial years. The lack of these basic resources made him realize their importance even more.

He admits that he ensured his children never left the lights on or left their shoes near the fireplace. While talking to Roll, he also confessed that during the skiing season, his kids would often insist on getting hot chocolate after a few rounds of skiing in order to feel relieved by the cold.

However, Schwarzenegger made sure that they didn’t touch it. He made them go a few more rounds so that their bodies generated enough heat themselves instead of relying on hot chocolate. “So now that they, when they come up to Sun Valley with their friends, they get up, after the dinner, with their wine glasses, and say that they want to toast daddy…”Because he made us good skiers, and that’s why we are here today,”” Schwarzenegger revealed.
