“This Sh*t Works”: Mark Wahlberg Confesses His Extreme New Year Plans to Maintain His Freaky Fitness Even at 52

Mark Wahlberg, the American actor who starred in movies like TED, Uncharted, and The Family Plan, recently told his fans how he wishes to lead this new year. Through his latest post on Instagram, the actor and fitness enthusiast pointed out that one habit that everyone overlooks can become a healthy way of lifestyle and work harder on a daily basis.

The 52-year-old actor, Mark Wahlberg, plans to sleep early this year and get as much sleep and rest as possible. Understanding how people often back out from their New Year’s resolutions, Wahlberg emphasizes repeatedly that this year, he would be extremely determined about his goals.

Mark Wahlberg plans to stay boring

Wahlberg started his video by discussing his plans to not sleep early, as early as 6:30 PM. Soon after, the actor cleared up his intentions by saying that no matter what; he had decided to stay boring and sleep early. He said, “This year I’m gonna stay up past 8:00 at least twice this year and my outs this year is going to bed before 6:30. I’m gonna turn up this year, that’s what I’m gonna do. No, I’m gonna keep being boring, keep going to bed early.”

Moreover, Wahlberg also emphasized the fact that a person needs to sleep and rest for a better experience. He stated, “This sh*t works. Get your sleep. Get your rest. Eat right, exercise, and focus on faith, good things will happen and then good things will start happening for people around you.” He also talked about how people need to have breaks from this disciplined lifestyle to work harder the next day.

In one of his Instagram posts, Wahlberg showcased how his friend Mike, who is also a part of his 4 am club, was going about in his weight loss journey. As Mike was only about 3 pounds away from reaching his desired weight of 200 lbs, Wahlberg depicted his journey as a member of his 4 am hustle. He stated, “It is day 96 of 4 am club, Mike started at 280…look at that Mike. Wow! 2.7 pounds in the go of 200.”
