The icon has been in the bodybuilding arena for over a decade and earned his pro card. He even placed as high as seventh in the Mr. Olympia championship in the 2020 and 2021 editions.

Iain Valliere says goodbye to the bodybuilding stage

Bodybuilders put immense effort into training rigorously and eating huge meals consistently to build their physique. They have done it over the years to win prestigious titles, including Mr. Olympia. Iain Valliere is no different, as he is rigorously involved in achieving a ripped physique for his bodybuilding shows.

Valliere had an illustrative career with high accolades in the arena. Apart from his great Mr. Olympia placings, the 32-year-old placed first in Texas Pro and Tampa Pro in 2021. He came second in the Arnold Classic Ohio in 2021 but decided to leave the competitive arena. Valliere is also known to train and introduce the 4x Mr. Olympia champion Chris Bumstead to the bodybuilding sport.

In a YouTube video on his channel, the bodybuilding icon confessed that he is retiring from the stage to venture into new things in life. He also made it clear that no health issue or injury had forced him to retire. The athlete also posted an Instagram post that reflected “End of Era.” Bodybuilding fans are overwhelmed by the news as they reach the comment section to celebrate the icon’s journey.

Fans react to Vallier’s exit

While wishing Valliere the best for his future, fans were sad to witness him leave the sport. “Makes me wanna cry,” wrote an upset fan. “Last of his kind….legend,” opined a die-hard fan of the 32-year-old. “Today is national Iain valliere day,” declared another, paying tribute to the bodybuilder’s impeccable journey.

The fellow bodybuilding icons also joined to celebrate their colleagues achievements. “Tough to lose the only guy who gets more shit than me in the boards. I’ll take on your haters for you and live on through you giving them hell,” asserted Sergio Oliva Jr. “Nothing but Respect,” claimed IFBB Pro, Andrew Jacked. “Wouldn’t be where I am or who I am without you brother. Proud of your career and this decision,” wrote an emotional brother-in-law, Chris Bumstead.
