Kali Muscle is known in the bodybuilding community for his monstrous gains. The bodybuilder churned out fitness-related content on his YouTube channel, inspiring many to enter the bodybuilding arena. But a catastrophic heart stroke turned around Muscle’s perspective towards life. The 48-year-old icon, who admitted to PEDs dependence for muscle growth, now encourages a healthy lifestyle to promote a longer life.

Muscle, who updates his YouTube followers with his fitness-related videos and novel watermelon diet, shared stunning facts about his weight loss in a recent video.

The Big Shot actor progressed in his bodybuilding journey by being rebellious about lifting weights, diets, and steroids. Despite the rough start to his life, the bodybuilding prodigy became a social media sensation with 3.53M followers. But his life reached near the death door when he suffered a massive cardiac attack in 2021. 

Soon, he resolved to become better in terms of habits and restrained from meddling with his body. The bodybuilder, who just ended his 32-day watermelon fast, gets candid about his weight loss in his recent YouTube video. “My weight for last night was 186,” the bodybuilding icon said before confessing, “The most I ever weighed was 270. That was like for a week or two, but I was holding like for a while, you figure, I ain’t gonna, I’d even like 240.”

Muscle further revealed that he was at 220 lbs when he suffered a heart attack. “Now is awesome man, get up to maybe 190, 195,” the author spills beans on feeling light and healthy. “I do whatever I can to live as long as I can for my kids,” a concerned daddy of two stated. So, how did the long watermelon fast go for the bodybuilding icon?

The 48-year-old’s Watermelon diet

Kali Muscle is a father of twins, and his parental instinct made him realize the vulnerability he would pose if he followed his past path of unhealthy habits after the 2021 almost-fatal heart attack. So, he soon shifted gears towards a healthy lifestyle, transformed himself into a natural bodybuilder, abstained from addiction, and went light on heavy weights.

So, after being fascinated to learn about an Indian priest who went without water and food for 90 days, Muscle wanted to try the 32-day watermelon fast. Despite a fainting incident on the 26th day, Muscle credits the fast for good blood work. “They got my results. I’m gonna show it to my results. Send me the paperwork. Man, they came back wow! You’re healthy as ever,” he updated his fans after the challenge.
