Wesley Vissers Makes a Bold Confession After Causing Turbulence in the Bodybuilding World With Back-to-Back Arnold Classic Victories

Bodybuilding fans are well aware of the legacy of ‘The Austrian Oak’ Arnold Schwarzenegger, but now they are witnessing the rise of ‘The Dutch Oak’ Wesley Vissers. Vissers clinched the Arnold Classic UK just a week after he stood triumphant, defeating the formidable Ramon Dino at the Arnold Classic Ohio. He now has his eyes set on Mr. Olympia 2024 and has a message for his rivals.
Right after his feat at the Arnold Classic UK, the bodybuilder took to social media to express his excitement. In his Instagram story, he exclaimed, “Unbelievable what just happened, guys. I can’t believe it. It’s incredible. I’m literally saying this like, 15 minutes off the coming up stage, man.” His words encapsulated the raw emotion and sheer disbelief of his achievement.

Yet, amidst the jubilation, Vissers remains grounded, acknowledging that this is merely the genesis of his journey. “So this is just the beginning of the Dutch Oak finding its roots,” he declared, his resolve unwavering and his sights set higher than ever before with Mr. Olympia Classic Physique division title in his sights.
Vissers also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his supporters, recognizing that their unwavering faith and encouragement have been instrumental in his success. “Guys, thank you so much for unbelievable support. I know I say this a lot, but without you, this would not be possible. So thank you very much,” he remarked.
As he sets his sights on the horizon, Vissers knows that the road ahead will be arduous, but he embraces the challenge with fervor. “But for now, it’s time for some food. And once again, food to start this off-season off right. To battle for the Olympia. I’ll make it exciting for you guys. I’m very excited right now,” he added.
Vissers was the last man standing out of seven contestants at the NEC in Birmingham, England, during the opening night of the 2024 Arnold Classic UK on Friday, March 15, 2024. This success came after his win at the US event which left many surprised. With Olympia his next challenge, will he be able to dethrone Chris Bumstead?

Chris Bumstead has been at the top of his game in the bodybuilding world for quite some time and toppling him would be no mean feat. For the ‘Dutch Oak’ Mr. Olympia will be a massive challenge. Last year he finished 7th, with Bumstead taking the title. Will history repeat itself this year or will Vissers continue to make history.
