Ronnie Coleman: A gentle giant amidst bodybuilding

While the bodybuilding world is rife with competitive spirits and the occasional backstage tension, Coleman’s demeanor has always been different. When asked about any altercations, on or off the stage, the eight-time?Mr. Olympia?responded with a straightforward “never.” In the interview, Patrick Bet-David asks Ronnie if he ever got in a “fistfight.” To this, Ronnie replied, “Never.” To his shock, David asked him again, “You’ve never had a fistfight.” But Ronnie remained firm with his answer and again said, “Never.”

Even after asking him twice the same thing, Bet-David was in disbelief and asked if he ever punched anyone during his time as a police officer: “You’ve never punched somebody in the face. Not even as a cop. To this, Ronnie laughed and said, “Well.“?

David even cited an incident involving?Jay Cutler, another bodybuilding titan, which barely jogged a memory for Coleman. One time shot, an elbow at you, and you guys kind of went back and forth.” He laughed it off, saying he didn’t “even remember.” David concluded by saying, “You’re a pretty calm guy.”
