War and bloodshed go back to the dawn of civilization and one such conflict that has been going on for ages is the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Recently, the conflict has stirred up again. With this renewal of brutality, many sympathizers from around the world are speaking up, including the bodybuilding legend, Big Ramy.

Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay, popularly known as Big Ramy, is an Egyptian IFBB Pro bodybuilder. The 39-year-old bodybuilding legend has not only won 2 Mr. Olympia titles but also won the 2017 Arnold Classic Europe.

Big Ramy sends his prayers to the war victims

After the latest militant scuffle on 7th October, the world mourns once again. The struggle has resulted in another source of distress for the war victims on both sides. As the horrific news spread like wildfire, Big Ramy showed his empathy for the victims of the struggle. In his latest Instagram story, he shared a picture of the dreadful scene to spread the sad news.

Furthermore, referring to the sad sentiments of the present circumstances and being well aware of his own limitations, he wrote, “I am not there physically but you are always in my prayers.”

On the other side, times haven’t been great for Big Ramy, with him having to stay away from bodybuilding for some time. In a recent video, bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler asked the Egyptian bodybuilder to not rush back into competitive bodybuilding.

Jay Cutler’s advice to Big Ramy

In one of his episodes in Cutler cast, Jay Cutler pointed out that much like Conor McGregor’s recently healed leg fracture, even Big Ramy has his own drawbacks which the competition judges might notice. Thus, the four-time Mr. Olympia asked Ramy to take things slowly. Cutler also recommended that he pay more attention to his family, which is a far more important thing. He stated, “Ramy has holes that he needs to fix. And if those holes aren’t fixed, that’s going to damage him on stage.”

As the whole world mourns the war victims, the bodybuilding community joins in to send them their prayers. At this moment of utter distress, one should acknowledge the innocent lives that get lost in such prolonged conflicts and drive towards solutions that ensure peace is maintained.
