Phil Heath explains how drugs are well-weaved in the Bodybuilding domain

Chris Williamson’s latest video on his YouTube channel features Phil Heath. The interview revolves around various facades of Heath’s beliefs on PED use. In the video, he is reported to recall his own time when they used to train the whole year. He remarks how things have changed now as he says, “It’s not an all-year thing. Because now, you become a drug addict. You know how many drug addicts are in bodybuilding? A tremendous amount.”

Furthermore, he reflects upon how it affects the bodybuilder, both their mentality and the proper state of being. He boldly states, “They’re chasing something. But they’re not winning something.” Phil’s words really make one wonder if the bodybuilders using the enhancing drugs are actual champs, even with their trophies.

Heath, moreover, talks about the necessity he never felt to take the drugs. He apprises the audience that the base form he had indulged himself in making was extremely useful and that no further assistance was needed for his wins.

In the video, Phil also points out the various harmful effects these drugs can draw on a person. He accuses it of wrecking a bodybuilder with both financial and physical debts it bores. He says, “Why should I when I was able to win my first couple of amateur shows clean?” Then he lists down several things that can lead to avoiding such grave mistakes as the PEDs. He notes, “Maybe I don’t want to do this. Maybe I don’t want to have to take drugs, maybe I’m afraid of needles, maybe I’m afraid of the side effects.”
