Arnold Schwarzenegger recently disclosed how he had to undergo surgery to insert a pacemaker in his heart only about a week ago. Yet in his usual style, the former bodybuilder also ended up visiting several events right after. When the news of his surgery got out, many of his fans started sending Arnie wishes and prayers, amidst which the bodybuilding beast found it necessary to leap past all the difficulties and show the world how strong he was.

In his latest Instagram post, the 77-year-old had a ticking clock attached to his chest, in what could be seen as a reference to the pacemaker. In the caption of his post, Schwarzenegger revealed what this might indicate. According to Arnie, the pacemaker would not restrict him from doing his work. Explaining how he was set to start filming for season 2 of FUBAR within a very short time, Arnie wrote, “A lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with FUBAR Season 2. Absolutely not. I will be ready to film in April, and you can only see it if you’re really looking for it.”

On the other hand, when one of his fans commented that the device Arnie was wearing “looks like those time bombs in the movies,” he replied humorously by saying, “That’s what I was going for!”

Just a few days ago, Arnie had revealed how he got himself checked and later received a call from his doctors. He wrote in his newsletter, “My doctors called to tell me that after looking at all of my results and data and knowing I had six weeks until it was time to film FUBAR Season 2, it was time to go for it. (the surgery)” Schwarzenegger also explained how his doctors asked for many more seasons of FUBAR and told him that the pacemaker would help him achieve that in the best way!

Like always, Arnold Schwarzenegger fans seemed extremely empathetic about the bodybuilder’s health conditions. Commenting on his post, they sent him prayers and wishes.

Another fan said how the surgery was just a minor hiccup and penned, “HIGH VOLTAGE, you’ve got this Arnold. You’ve survived so much, this is just a speed bump.” Even Netflix’s official handle expressed their excitement for the upcoming production and wrote, “omg so excited for season 2 to start production!!!”
