$450 million worth Arnold Schwarzenegger’s name has been long associated with the famous SUV brand Hummer. The bulky and sturdy-looking vehicles seemed to have piqued the interest of the bodybuilding legend since they were first marketed in 1992. It eventually grew popular among other athletes like Lee Priest, who recently recalled an instance with one of Arnie’s Hummers.
Appearing in an interview with IFBB AMA on YouTube, the Australian pro shared that he was once hesitant to drive Arnold’s Hummer, even though he owned his own. Explaining the reason in the video, Priest ended up recalling the fun times from his prime days.

Recalling the instance, the 51-year-old pro revealed that Arnold once pulled up with his H1 Hummer at the gym and offered to take it out for a drive. Although the athlete also had a Hummer, Arnie’s was a Turbo Diesel, whereas Lee’s was just a Diesel, per the source. Hence, Priest was pretty reluctant to drive it, given that he did not want to crash it.

Eventually, the pro drove it and rather got hooked on the car’s fine performance. “I go to the gym and Arnold turns up with his H1 Hammer, but his was a turbo diesel mine was just a diesel, he’s like Lee, take mine for a drive, like, no, I don’t want to drive your car, in case I crash it. I took it for a drive, come back I’m like you a**h***e…” Priest recalled saying to Arnold.
Two weeks after the test drive, Priest ended up buying a Turbo Diesel for himself because he loved the performance. That was not it; the athlete recounted the fun times at the gym when he and Arnold would often roast each other with remarks yet end up having a good laugh. In contrast, the Austrian Oak had to give away his grand collection of Hummers for a noble cause later on.
