The self-proclaimed CEO of gym positivity, Joey Swoll never has a second thought before voicing his opinions on those who are spoiling the culture of the gym these days. Having been the subject of bullying during his school days, the fitness influencer, Swoll, often criticizes problematic behaviour in the gym and tries to bring attention to those who are harassed and victimized. 

Recently, Joey Swoll explicitly showcased his anger over a woman who shot videos in the gym depicting others in it without their consent. Like always, he posted a video on his Instagram account, lambasting the woman gymgoer for her behavior.

Fitness Influencer Joey Swoll criticizes a woman who shoots others in her video. Along with a video, he wrote a caption as well that said, “Stop filming others without their consent in the gym. Leave people alone or STAY HOME.”

Criticizing the woman, he said that this was becoming a huge problem in gyms. Zooming in on people, and making them the subject of the video without their knowledge, was unacceptable, according to the influencer. Swoll also went on to add that people do not want to be used as “accessories”  for “social media content” and condemned the incident. 

Earlier, Swoll had called out another gym-goer who was found doing a similar activity in the gym.

In a post in October, Swoll showcased a woman getting annoyed after a gymgoer walked into her frame multiple times while she was filming her workout. The man, who was walking into the frame, was doing so to put his dumbbell back in its place. However, after being interrupted multiple times, the woman seemed angry.

However, Joey Swoll did not agree with what had played out and said, “When is this nonsense going to end I really don’t understand like people get so upset and then post this and acting as if they are victim”. He further went on to add how the filming was being done in a walkway and that the man was not the least in the wrong.
