During his prime, former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson was one of the most formidable boxers to step foot inside the ring. While he might have retired from professional boxing. There is no stopping this human equivalent of a military tank. Tyson recently surprised fans with a video of his most recent sparring session. And, there is no denying that the fans were left speechless at the former champ’s performance.

Tyson was seen engaged in an intense mitt session. And it should be said that he is still extremely fast and nimble on his feet. Moreover, there is no doubt that there was an immense power behind each of those punches.
This session was also a spectacular display of Tyson’s ‘Peek-a-Boo‘ style of boxing. With his stellar head movement and immaculate footwork.

His sparring partner also looked extra careful so as to not come in the line of one of the champ’s brutal blows.

Fans were in awe of Mike Tyson
It should come with no confusion that boxing fans were truly in awe of Mike Tyson’s performance during the sparring session. And a lot of fans took to social media to share their thoughts.
A user named Joe Vaquera was quick to mention, “Age is just a number.”

Boxing fans did not forget the fact that Jake Paul called him out. User Troy Van Atter said, “And Jake Paul wants to box Iron Mike. Who will insure that certain death?”
In the same vein, Derek Burger said, “He would send Jake Paul to the shadow realm.”

But, user Marcos M Placer felt that Tyson was training because he lost his money. He said, “I think he tryna fight again to make a little more money cause he got no other choice.”
However, user Erik VanScoy was not too sure about Tyson’s skills. He said, “Yeah, let’s see that against real competition!! More likely Mike gets flattened!!”
The video is proof that the boxing legend would still remain one of the greatest boxers of all time, irrespective of his age. And that he can always take on fighters half his age any day.
