Though it is still not official, a Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua now looks more real than it seemed a couple of months ago. This will surely go down as the greatest bout in the British fighting history. A financial deal is said to have been decided, and a two-fight contract looks possible. In simple math, the first match will see both opponents taking 50% each while in the rematch, the winner will get 60% of the wallet.
But the complexity in the equation is due to the other matches these two Champions have to first wind up. The two-time heavyweight world champion Fury has to face Deontay Wilder again in a trilogy bout. Next up for him would then be Dillian Whyte. On the other hand, Anthony Joshua needs to defend his IBF title against the Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev. Not just this, come January, he also has to fight Oleksandr Usyk.

We already have comments/predictions from the biggies in the names of Wladimir Klitschko, Mike Tyson, Tony Bellew, Roy Jones Jr. coming in. But the worrisome part is something else. If one of them loses their title defense matches, the clash might then not be for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
The broadcasting rights for the matches of both the players also belong to different channels and that remains a whole different issue. So a lot needs to fall in place for this fight to happen. What are your thoughts on this?
