‘A Lot of Things Wasn’t Right and It Was F*cking Me Up’: Dillian Whyte Exposes ‘Mind Games’ Involved in His Defeat Against Tyson Fury

It has been more than half a year since Tyson Fury inflicted heavy damage on Dillian Whyte’s chin to defend his WBC title, but Whyte is still not able to accept that Fury was the superior boxer that night in Wembley arena in London. He still believes that Fury’s ‘Mind games’ played an important role in defining the fate of the highly anticipated contest.

In an interview ahead of his upcoming fight, ‘The Body Snatcher‘ pointed out some things that were not right according to him.

Whyte said, “You know and then waiting for him and stuff and then he turns up and it takes him five seconds to get in the ring you know I mean so but there’s a lot of Mind Games a lot of ups and downs and a lot of things wasn’t right and it was [ __ ] me about up until a few days before the fight good business from them buy business for me you know and that’s ever you know.”

Upcoming fight of Dillian Whyte

The Brit is all set to bounce back from his defeat to ‘The Gypsy King’. It was the biggest opportunity of his career. His longtime rival was standing in front of him and the victory over him would have made him the champion.

Keeping in mind the reasons for his loss, he is coming up with a new trainer. Per reports, he will most likely lock horns with the American heavyweight Jermaine Franklin.

The fight will take place under the lights of OVO Wembley Arena in London on 26 November.

The win would set him up for a fight with his old rival, Anthony Joshua. The duo has met before in 2015 at the O2 arena. Then Joshua had knocked out Whyte in the seventh round. As of now, he hopes he would avenge his loss against Joshua if meets again the next year.

Before reaching to this point, he has to defeat Franklin, which is not going to be an easy clash as the latter is a tough fighter who never tasted defeat.
