Former four-division champion Adrien Broner knows about levels when it comes to boxing. The veteran boxer was touted to be the next Mayweather before his career went downhill. Moreover, he has also been closely involved with Gervonta Davis who he considered his ‘little brother’.

This is the reason why Broner was more than happy to warn ‘Tank’s long-time rival Ryan Garcia about the dangers of facing the WBA regular lightweight champion. In addition, he even revealed that he had a whole conversation with ‘The Flash’ on the phone about this potential matchup.

Adrien Broner warns Ryan Garcia about Gervonta Davis
In a recent interview, Broner revealed that he had a phone call with Garcia. He stated that while there was no hate between the two, Garcia was not shy to mock him and Davis about a potential fight, if it ever takes place. “There’s no real hate just like Ryan like all they all called me on the phone. He called me not too long ago, he called me one night, he was like I know I know you gonna walk out with your Lil brother but he’s not going to beat me AB, I just love you I respect you,” said Broner, in Round Da Way podcast.

However, Broner then claimed he told Garcia the truth about what will happen if the two faced off. “I’m like you’re not gonna beat Tank,” he added. Garcia vs Davis is currently one of the biggest fights to make in boxing. Moreover, with Tank now ready for his tune-up bout against Hector Luis Garcia, the pair might finally collide this coming April.

Gervonta Davis released on bail following his recent arrest
‘Tank’ recently made headlines following his arrest on a domestic battery charge. However, just after spending one night in detention, Davis was released on bail. The bail was set at a measly $1000 dollars which Davis’ team easily paid off. Moreover, he even denied the allegations against him and missed a statement online sharing his side of the story.

In addition, he has also been cleared to face Hector Luis Garcia on January 7 and will be looking for a victory. He will also try and put this whole episode behind him and concentrate more on his upcoming fights in 2023.
