Anthony Taylor, the outspoken influencer boxer, suffered a major defeat at the hands of Idris Virgo on the undercard of the KSI vs FaZe Temperrr back in January. Taylor who has been an athlete in both MMA and boxing has made a decent mark in the influencer boxing scene. With a record of 7-5, he has had a mediocre career. However, he recently made a statement in his last fight against Salt Papi.

In the MF & DAZN X Series 7, ‘Pretty Boy’ beat Papi convincingly, resulting in a clear decision victory. Despite Papi’s growing reputation in both the crossover and traditional boxing communities, he struggled to evade Taylor’s clean and effective punches. Now, Taylor has come out and addressed his previous setbacks also thanking Misfits Co-President Mams Taylor in the process.

Anthony Taylor shows his appreciation for Mams Taylor

In a recent tweet on social media, the American fighter made some revelations about his fight with Virgo. He claimed that he made mistakes in that duel which led him to lose money. However, he added that Mams had always been a pillar of support for him by providing him opportunities he would not have gotten otherwise. In addition, he revealed that he will now be able to buy his own house within a year, thanks to the Misfit’s co-president.

“Just to put this out there! I made mistakes which cost me money fighting idris. But I can tell you this without a doubt @MamsTaylor has treated me with Notting but respect and he’s given me so much opportunity and chances to change my life. I’m soon able to buy my first house this year. I’m grateful to @MamsTaylor and @MisfitsBoxing just in general… and best believe now“I’M PAID” he wrote.

Taylor’s gratitude towards Mams Taylor and Misfits Boxing suggests that they have played a significant role in his personal development and career progression. As he moves forward, Taylor’s journey will continue to be shaped by those who believe in his potential. However, for the time being, ‘Pretty Boy’ has named the people who he wants to face next.

In a tweet, he boldly stated that he can never be knocked out, emphasizing his confidence in his durability. Moreover, he further stirred the pot by naming several prominent influencer boxers, including KSI, Salt Papi, Deji, Slim Albaher, and AnEnson Gib as future opponents.
