Amanda Serrano Reveals Why She Will Not Engage in Trash Talk Against Katie Taylor Ahead of Their Mammoth Fight

2022 will host some action-packed boxing bouts between the biggest of fighters. One such fight that will go on floors is between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. The pair will lock horns in a massive undisputed lightweight title bout on April 30 at the MSG in New York. Hence, the stakes are undoubtedly high for this momentous collision.

Ahead of what will be a boxing treat, fans expect the two stalwarts to trash talk each other to build some hype around their fight.

However, Serrano, who isn’t interested in doing so, tweeted out her reason for the same. She wrote, I have huge Respect for @KatieTaylor I will never talk down to her as I’m not one to sell a fight talking like that. Like she says on here, We aren’t great at talking trash lol. This Is THE PERFECT TIME. I’m glad it’s happening now. Perfect venue, Better Purse. Let’s Get It!”

 

Taylor and Serrano’s fight was expected to materialize in 2021 itself, but fight fans had to sustain their anticipation as this fight got pushed to 2022. Apart from her belts, ‘The Bray Bomber’ will also look to retain her unbeaten record. Meanwhile, Serrano will look to enhance her legacy and pin herself in the history books forever.

‘The Real Deal’ is a super aggressive fighter and she’ll undoubtedly follow this approach to tackle the Irish boxer. Meanwhile, Taylor will look to employ her extraordinary fight IQ to get over the line against her toughest opponent.
