Cornered by Rob McCracken, Anthony Joshua suffered a lopsided defeat against Oleksandr Usyk in his hometown, London, which cost him the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles. The loss also dissolved his immediate chances to claim an undisputed title fight in the division. However, Joshua seems ready to rematch his Ukrainian opponent and has shown sheer confidence in his current team.

Having lost his world titles horrifically, Joshua introduced a lot of new features in his training camp. He was spotted in the gym with Spanish coach Angel Fernandez. However, Rob McCracken hasn’t exited Joshua’s side. In a recent chat with the iFL TV, ‘AJ’ detailed the confusions of his training partners, and appeared optimistic about his next fight.

Anthony Joshua said, “Our training still mixed with Rob, still chat with Rob. Work with Angel in a minute and we have got a good team setup like physio, conditioning coach, doing some good testing now, co-relating it with boxing.”

“So they are not separate like do a test and then go back to boxing and not worry about what we have done over there. Just bringing it all together. So, just really created a good, strong team.”

Well, Anthony Joshua didn’t complain about his preparations after losing against Usyk. He showed up in perfect shape. But surprisingly, ‘AJ’ didn’t offer his knockout power to the display. He apparently danced to Oleksandr Usyk‘s tunes and fell to the wrong end of a one-sided beat down.
