This year, the hardcore boxing lovers waited for a titanic clash to take place between two British warriors, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. A fight between these two was all set to take place on August 14 in Saudi Arabia. But, due to some external factors, this contest went off the rails and left everyone fuming and deterred.
More than anyone else, the unified champ, Joshua was sad as well as livid with his fellow compatriot Tyson Fury and his team. He took jabs at ‘The Gypsy King’s many times post before their fight fell through. And even today, he holds a certain amount of vitriol towards Fury.
In a recent chat with The Overlap, ‘AJ’ said, “I’ll smoke that guy, I will, it’s annoying… I don’t know [if I respect him]. I don’t look at anyone in my industry like that. They are just people I want to fight. They’re all enemies at the end of the day.” (h/t Michael Benson)

Tyson Fury was ready for this epic undisputed heavyweight title clash ever since he put on a clinical performance against Deontay Wilder. Also, in December 2020, Joshua passed his last hurdle by smothering Kubrat Pulev. With that, it seemed as though a fight between these two would undoubtedly materialize in the short order.
But nobody expected that this fight would go off the cards after everything seemed to be in place. However, both Joshua and Fury’s fans are keeping their fingers crossed to see this pair in the ring at least once in this lifetime.
