Earlier, Joshua was all set to face his fellow compatriot, Tyson Fury, for all the heavyweight titles on the line. But ex-WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder came in like a dark cloud for this contest and he aligned himself with ‘The Gypsy King’ for a fight instead.
With that, ‘AJ’ was left without an opponent, but in no time, the Ukrainian boxer and his team reached out to Joshua’s team for booking a 12-round war. That said, a contest between these two is finally set and it is one of the most important fights in the big men’s division.
In this bout, the Brit will defend all of his heavyweight titles so as to align himself for an undisputed fight in the future. He still has a strong urge to fight Fury for the undisputed championship. But in order to bag that fight, Joshua and Fury both will have to get past their opponents.
With that, the heavyweight division’s picture has turned even more captivating and the fans are ecstatic to see what happens next.
