‘Kid Dynamite’ is working for the first time in an Indian movie named ‘Liger’ which also stars Vijay Deverakonda. The movie is about an MMA fighter. Much is not known about Tyson’s role, but in the trailer, he makes a grand entry towards the end.
The movie is yet to hit the screens, but its trailer has captivated the audience.
During the release of the trailer, the co-actor Deverakonda made an interesting revelation. According to him, his mother Deverakonda Madhavi said various kinds of sacred prayers before he left for the USA to shoot scenes with ‘Iron Mike’.
“My mother did lots of pujas and put vibhuti (sacred ash) and kumkum (red turmeric powder) on me before I left for the USA. I’m fine now and her pujas did really work (laughs)”, Deverakonda said.
She was so intimidated by Tyson’s image that she even discussed the matter with the producer of the movie Charmme Kaur.
The film producer added, “She kept telling him, ‘It’s Mike Tyson! Be careful.’ She calls him Chinnu. She called me up millions of times and told me to take care of her Chinnu. Once they started shooting, I sent her videos of how they were chilling together and laughing as if they are childhood friends.”
The movie was set to release earlier but due to the covid pandemic, its release date kept on changing. Now, it will hit screens on August 25, 2022.

Why was the co-actors mother so intimidated by Mike Tyson?
‘Iron’ Mike was a revolution in the heavyweight division of boxing in the decade of 80s and 90s. His power and speed projected him as an executioner in the ring. It was so ruthless and supernatural that his opponent had psychological fear in their mind.
The 56-year-old became the youngest heavyweight champion ever. He was a knockout machine. Apart from the in-ring command, Tyson’s outside-ring controversies contributed a lot to framing an intimidating image.
