Is influencer-turned-boxer Astrid Wett making some changes in her training routine? So far, it looks like it. In a recent social media video, she was seen entering the ring for a pad work session with the former trainer of the infamous cross-over fighter, Jake Paul. The video raises some questions regarding where she’s headed in her boxing career. However, fans were more concerned about the way she threw jabs in the session.

Wett had signed with Misfits last year;  having fought under the banner three times (winning all of them impressively). Now, the video of her training with Paul’s former coach BJ Flores has sparked questions about her journey in the boxing realm.

New Beginnings for Astrid Wett?

There are some major shifts in the influencer-boxing scene. BJ Flores, KSI’s bitter rival Jake Paul’s former trainer, announced that he would join Misfits as a small council member. The new training video has raised concerns about Flores’ allegiance. However, as always, fans have chimed in raising some important questions that might shed some light on the situation that is unraveling in the influencer-boxing zone.

There is chatter among fan groups regarding a showdown between Wett and her contemporary, AJ Bunker. However, no official conversations regarding the same have come to light.

The pad work video of Astrid prompted a fan to predict a victory in favor of Bunker if they were to clash. The latter last won against Donna Preusker in a September fight.

Then came a user who called the practice session ‘mediocre,’. The user extended such criticism to all the fights she’s had so far.

However, another fan thought that people needed to cut Astrid some slack. They opined that the fighter did just fine for the current boxing scene.

Furthermore, came the advisors. A fan implored the celebrity coach to give the fighter some strength and conditioning training.

A fan echoed the question the video had sparked. Was this session a one-time thing for the coach and the fighter? Or has Astrid officially signed Flores as her trainer?

Astrid Wett’s next step in her boxing career has not come to light. Given the fact that Flores tagged Misfits and Mams Taylor, the president of the -promotions company, the fighter wants to continue fighting under Misfits. She last competed against Alexia Grace in Fury vs KSI Misfits undercard, a fight that she won through a majority decision.
