Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has become synonymous with money. Mayweather was the biggest star in boxing for over a decade and one of the highest-earning athletes in the world. However, it seems that ‘Money’s’ social media earnings are not on the same level as his other financial ventures. Although Mayweather is currently one of the most popular athletes in the world, his social media earnings look like spare change compared to other popular celebrities.
In a list by Hopper that revealed the Instagram earnings of celebrities, Mayweather was ranked 55th on the list. His Instagram earnings amount to just $153,000 per post while other celebrities like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylie Jenner all charge over a million dollars a post. The list was topped by Ronaldo, who charges $2,397,000 per post, followed by Kylie Jenner, who charges $1,835,000.

Although ‘Money‘ might be lacking in terms of social media success, he is still one of the richest athletes on the planet. The majority of his financial success can be attributed to his longevity as a fighter and his sound financial investments. He currently has a net worth of $450 million and is still the richest boxer in the world.

Floyd Mayweather calls out Jake Paul for a match
Following his victory over Mikuru Asakura in Japan, Mayweather was seemingly interested in taking on Paul. In an interview with TMZ, Mayweather mentioned that the YouTuber once said he was not interested in exhibition fights. Moreover, this prompted him to call out Paul for a fight.
He stated that as long as Paul was interested in fighting YouTubers, he will cruise. He then claimed that if Paul wanted a real challenge he could face him. ” I think he (Paul) was doing a sitdown on a podcast one time, and he talked about it and he said. ‘I don’t want to do an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather.’ He said, ‘I’m only doing real fights. And of course, I can’t get high up in weight, but I’ll fight him in a real fight at the weight that I’m at.” said Mayweather.
