Based on a true story, the Antoine Fuqua-directed movie will display the thrilling life story of an enslaved person, who revolted against a Louisiana plantation back in the 1860s and escaped it.

This is the first time Smith is getting positive feedback from the fans since his Chris Rock incident at the Oscars. Movie critics are appreciating the way Smith transformed himself to adopt the character. He is already looked upon to compete in next year’s Academy Award race. This is the reason he is one of the finest actors in the industry.

And he was like, ‘Ay, you know you the champ, right? You good? You know you the champ, right? I want you to hear my voice say it,” Smith said.
