YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, finally stepped inside the ring to have that very fight that he has yearned for, for the longest time. He recently faced his longtime adversary, Tommy Fury, for an electrifying showdown, at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia, on February 26, 2023. Moreover, the fight took place with a special set of guidelines and under VAR scrutiny. The fight also boasted of the presence of many notable names in the audience. In fact, soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo also made his presence felt at the event.

Paul undoubtedly showcased an impressive performance. But, Fury turned out to be the better pugilist. He was declared the winner by a split decision. Meanwhile, cameras caught Cristiano Ronaldo as Fury was declared the winner. And it can be said that he did not look too excited.

On the other hand, Paul embraced Fury after the fight. While he was disappointed at the outcome, he maintained a positive outlook. As per The Sun, he further spoke at the post-fight interview, saying, “This is definitely a humbling experience. I’ll take it on the chin and get back in the gym and run it back.”

Paul also added, “All respect to Tommy he won, don’t judge me by my wins judge me by my losses, I’ll come back. I think we deserve a rematch, it was a good fight, a close fight.”

In the same vein, Fury expressed his admiration for his opponent. And called him a “true warrior”.
